Classes

All  classes are at the Center for Expressive Arts Therapy, 3838 E. Fort Lowell Rd.

Methods for Interpreting and Developing Subject Matter in Drawing and Painting

Class Designed for High School Students Ages 14-18

Tuesday and Thursday, 7 classes 1pm-3pm,  + 3 field trips 9am-12pm

10 classes/ June15-July 20: June 15,17,22,24,29, July 6, 8,13, 15, 20.

Space is limited to 10 students. Sign up as soon as possible.  $250 per session

Most materials included.  The student will be responsible to provide some materials.

All experience levels welcome.  Improvement at individual pace is encouraged.

   Still Life, Plein Aire, Figure

    Experiment with technique, Tools, materials and tricks

Registration and payment deadline is Monday 6/ 7 to participate in the 6/ 15 session dates.  Refunds can be honored by 6/8 only as space is reserved by this date.

Intergenerational Bridging through the arts

Class for students ages 8-12
With significant adult or Grandparent

Saturday 10 am-12 pm, 6 classes   cost $150 per session

June 5- July 17; no class July 3.  Class is limited to 10 students and special adults

Reserve the time to share creative energies with your special adult through the process of art making, music appreciation and journaling.  Kids bring your grandparent or significant adult.  A transforming experience occurs when generations are bridged through the process. 

Registration and payment deadline is Friday May 28^th to participate in 6/5 session.  Refunds can be honored only by 6/6 as space is reserved by this date.

Develop your ‘voice’ through the art process

Thursday night 6:30 – 9:30, 10 sessions

August 26 – November 4, no class on September 16,

Reserve time for yourself! Luxuriate in the development of the artistic you!

$280 a session/ Limit  10 students

Experiment with art materials, Develop your style, Have Fun!

The dialogue and interaction in the classroom encourages self- paced learning within the group projects.  A studio setting where involvement in creative work, networking and socializing are encouraged. Experienced Artist & Teacher Marianne D. Cracovaner facilitates the coursework.  An opportunity to focus on projects involving drawing, painting, collage and mixed media.  A meeting place for experiments with both real and abstracted form.
